1 first-party skill carries this practice area in its frontmatter.

| Skill | Jurisdiction | Tags | Attested by |
|---|---|---|---|
| [Case-Law Research](https://github.com/LegalQuants/lq-ai/blob/671eab0d/skills/case-law-research/SKILL.md) | us | `research` `case-law` `litigation` `citations` `courtlistener` | attestation not recorded in frontmatter |

## Scope note

Out of scope beyond case-law research and drafting support. PRD §1.6 excludes "e-discovery or litigation-specific workflows" outright, scoping the project to in-house work: contracts, policies, regulatory matters, advice. docs/skill-authoring-guide.md's tag conventions list `litigation` as "(rarely; out of scope for v1)". The case-law-research skill carries this tag, but its own "What this skill does not do" section bounds it — it will not research non-U.S. jurisdictions, search statutory or regulatory text, apply retrieved authority to the user's facts, or assert that a case is still good law — so this is case-law lookup and citation provenance for research and drafting, not a broader litigation capability.

## Contributing coverage here

Coverage for a jurisdiction or practice area is contributed, not requested. The route — and what to do when the area is one the PRD excludes outright — is on the [coverage index](/lq-ai/skills/coverage/#contributing-coverage), with the canonical files it traces to.
